Lee Kyung-eun (popularly known as Ha Ri-su) (born 17 February 1975) is a singer, TV star and actress from South Korea. She has become particularly well known in Taiwan and mainland China, as well as Korea, after being the first Korean entertainer to come out as being transsexual.

She was born in Seongnam, near Seoul. In 1997-98, she moved to Japan and transitioned to live as a woman. While there, she began studying to become a hairdresser, and began singing in Japanese clubs. It was while singing in Japan that she got her first break, being recruited by an agent in 1999. In 2001, she formally changed her name to Ha Ri-su, just before featuring in an advertisement for Korean cosmetics company DoDo. The company were unsure of the reaction the advertisement would have, but it was well-received, and ended up launching her career. On December 12, 2002, the Inchon District Court recognized her as legally female, and she changed her name from Lee Kyung-yup to Lee Kyung-eun.

Since then, Ha Ri-su has branched out into music and acting, among other things. She has recorded three musical albums, switching between techno music and rhythm and blues. In 2001, she starred in the film Yellow Hair 2, for which she also recorded the soundtrack. Ha Ri-su has also had brief forays into other areas - having danced in a video clip for the group 'Turbo', as well as having written a book/photoessay about herself. In 2004, she became the first known transsexual person, anywhere in the world, to be featured in an advertisement for women's hygiene products.

Baby V.O.X. (Hangul: 베이비복스, standing for Baby Voices of Xpression) was one of South Korea's most popular girl groups, belonging to record company DR Music. The blazing hot Korean female group Baby VOX (short for Baby Voice of Expression) is the flame ignited by the five members - Lee Hee Jin, Yoon Eun Hae, Kan Miyoun, Kim Ez and Sim Eun Jin. The story of the VOXes began in 1997 when the name Baby VOX was given to a five member female group and when their debut album was released. However, success didn't knock on their door right away: the featured song "Haircut" reached only 47 on the pop chart while the debut selling was disappointing.
Poor selling led to separation, the record company decided to keep only two VOXes, Lee Hee Jin and Kim Kz, while brought in three energetic, vibrant dancers to the team. Thus the second generation of Baby VOX was born, with Kan Miyoun, Sim Eun Jin, and Lee Gai.
