called USCIS on jan 4th, they said they are scheduling, it will take 3 weeks to get the notice, till now nothing.
called yesterday again, this time they said 45 days. Opened SR. I am hearing no use with SR. Not sure what is going on?
Meanwhile, i gave this procedure to a freind and they got notices.
Can anybody tell me if there will be an LUD on i-485 when they issue a FP notice?

July VB Fiasco I-485 Receipting Delays
The USCIS has yet to release the detailed progress report on the receipting delays in terms of the numbers that have yet to be processed for receipting. The only thing people know through various private websites just indicates that there are a plenty of people who are still waiting for filing fee checks cashed or receipt notices received for the cases which were filed as early as July 2, 2007, not to mention any later cases.
We reported earlier that the USCIS had allegedly received total of 800,000 cases for the July VB fiasco cases. There is an unconfirmed report that they have completed the receipting only half way through of the total, meaning approximately 400,000. There are no sources of information to verify or confirm the figures. However, if it is correct, the USCIS has yet to process mountains of receipting workloads ahead and the filers have some additional sleepless nights which they will have to endure for a while. AMEN!

They tell me to wait for 30 days and sometime 60-90days.
They say you will become actual permanent resident when you get the card The card is important.
You now USCIS don�t know when they will change their minds.
To better be on safe side to get it stamped on my passport. I took info pass on 8-11-08 it will be almost 30 days,

o Yes, mine is a NSC->CSC->NSC transfer case.
o I spoke to an IO at NSC around the last week of October and she told me she is going to schedule it, but was a little apprehensive as I trashed some mail without going through it properly (so that was my fault). My main intention on getting an infopass appointment was to make sure that I did not miss any scheduled appointment, which was confirmed by the IO.
o My case was recd. at NSC on 9/21 (Not sure when CSC transferred it). My Notice date is 9/10 if that helps.
o Not sure what you mean by "What is FP data?", did you mean "date" instead of "data" ? If so, I don't know. All she told me was I was in the queue, which I am assuming is their internal queue.

Are you telling that FP was already sceduled even before you went for Infopass?
Could you tell when case was transferred to NSC and when NSC received it? What is the FP data?

Your employer do NOT have to give LC or Original 140 to you for invoking AC21. If you have 485/AOS receipt ( which is your personal property) and you got a copy of 140 receipt ( if not approved) / copy of approval notice and that 485 shows more than 180 days from RECEIPT DATE you are good to switch Jobs.
Just keep in touch with Attorney in case if any RFE comes - so that he contacts you now instead of your previous employer. If you are a self-filer or have hired your own Lawyer even you dont have this headache.
When changing Jobs - be responsible on your own , so that you can respond to the RFE satisfactorily. Also make sure you get a letter from new employer that they want to recruit you on a permanent basis quoting your Salary and Job description.
If Labor Certification and I-140 Approval Notices are a property of the Employer, how the "Beneficiary" is supposed to invoke 'AC-21' for changing jobs in the future without having the approval notices? - My employer has a policy of NOT giving out approval notices of LC and I-140.

Don't know why my file is still pending (RD 6/18), present EAD expiring in 2 weeks..:)
My EAD renewal is pending as well - RD 6/18 - present EAD expiring on 9/25. I requested expediting processing on 8/13 and received a letter yesterday saying they are reviewing my request and will have a decision in 60 days : :rolleyes:

I am really sorry to hear your situation...
I am not sure whether you have US born kid or not.. but I have read somewhere that if mother has US born kid, she can stay here in US on Kids account. You might want to check this...
